My client, a world leader in e-mail and web contant security based in West Berkshire, is looking for a German Speaking Technical Support Engineer to join their international team. This position offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in providing Technical support to customers and partners across Europe, the Middle-East and Africa.
The successful candidate for this role will possess:
• Fluent German
• Excellent communication skills for assisting customers
• The ability to empathize with customer technical problems and resolve them with understanding in order to exceed customer expectations and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
Your responsibilities will include: communicating effectively with German speaking clients via phone and e-mail and producing technical notes on the client’s products and systems.
The ideal candidate for the role will have strong knowledge of e-mail systems, a high calibre of customer service with excellent communication skills in German and the ability to operate as part of a team. You should have an understanding of IP networking, including SMTP, DNS and be familiar with electronic messaging concepts.Comprehension of ISS, SQL and Linux being highly advantageous. You should be flexible regarding working hours.
You must be able to relocate or commute to the West Berkshire area where the client is located. Ideally you should be available as soon as possible to begin work.
In return my client is offering a salary between £25,000-£30,000 for this role within a truly international company.
