The Android Security Team will discuss its approach for securing the Android platform against malware. Topics will include the Android Open Source Project, the security response process for Android devices, platform security innovations such as sandboxing, SELinux, and other platform hardening efforts, hardware cryptography, roots of trust, and the role of security services such as Google's Verify Apps tool. We will also give our view into the security of the Android ecosystem, based in part on worldwide data from our Verify Apps tool.
