In response to demand from security professionals, employers and students, the OU's
'information security and digital forensics' team and 'advanced networking'
team collaborated to create a distance learning module on Network Security. This
presentation reviews the challenges, the technology used and the commercial skills
explored, as well as the unanticipated interest from students.
