Password stealer

Trojan that steals user data such as login IDs/passwords

Password-stealing trojans are any type of trojan designed to steal passwords, generally from online banking systems to facilitate fraud and theft, but also passwords giving access to systems. They may also gather other sensitive information, both personal data and details of the infected system.

The data harvested is passed to a controller, perhaps via email or IRC communications.
