Controller of a network of zombie computers

A botherder is someone who manages and controls a botnet, a network of zombie computers which can be used to launch DDoS attacks, spam campaigns or search the network for systems vulnerable to attack.

The botherder operates the 'Command and Control' (C&C) server, which communicates with the bots via a network protocol such as IRC.
